I'm interested in this as well. I've test drove both and I do think the Bilstein shocks are a little stiffer, which I like as well. I couldn't find an FJ here that had the Off-Road and the Upgrade 2 packages, so I bought one without the Off-Road package. I got the dealer to add the wheels and tires from the off-road package, but not the shocks.
having said that, my experience with factory installed Bilstein shocks is dismal. I've had two vehicles with them over the years and both were nice and stiff for 10k-20k and them just went out!
I've driven Jeeps for ten years, so my experience with FJ's is nil. On Jeeps, I like Rancho; most like OME. I'm picking the FJ up this afternoon. Ron

Hey, All. I've searched but can't find a conclusive answer to this question: would upgrading to the Bilstein shocks that come with the '08 All-terrain package make an "everyday" difference in driving compared to the standard OEM shocks? In other words, would it stiffen up the ride a bit? I would like it if it did, not that I am complaining.
