I work for a ltl freight co, and yes, things get hit dropped stacked on ect... If you ever see a loaded pup going terminal to terminal, you'd be suprised more stuff doesn't get trashed. But good luck, sounds like the guy is willing to work with you, just one thing though, he asked for you to send him pics, not post them here for him to review.
