Meet.....the FJ Snuiser (maksaser Build)

I decided a few months ago I was going to build my own tent trailer. I want to have it done in time for Cuise Moab, so it shouldn't take too long. The platform is this trailer I got off Craigslist for $300. It's the bed of an '89 Toyota 4x4. So far, all I've done to it is hook up the tail lights, get new wheels and shoes, new jack, and a new coupler. I've got a roof top tent to mount on top. I'm going to take the front and tail gate off and build in cabinets. Including a kitchen in the back. The tent will be supported by a steel frame that will be built into the bed, with supporting cross members across the front and back, and spaced every 12", then with a top of marine plywood. There will also be a rack mounted behind the tent for extra gear. Should be fun to build, and more fun to use. I'll post pics as it progresses.
