Re: what are you doing this weekend
I'll look at my books tonight and see if I can't find something for sat and sunday - anyone prefer a certain area over another?
The bradshaw mountain run is pretty fun - get off 17 at bumble bee, go through cleator and have a drink, stop in crown king for lunch, take senator highway, then back to i-17 via bloody basin. its not really much of a challenge though, just a dirt road really. in fact, i've seen cars driving it before, but the views are awesome, there should be snow at the top with some mud. its about 70 miles of dirt though, so its a full day trip.
I've also wanted to do box canyon (i think thats the one) and connect to buckhorn creek trail, and then connect to castle hot springs road, making that a full days worth, but again, thats not very challenging, at least not by what the books say.
I'd be game for doing some more difficult if possible, but if people are into easy, I can do easy.
Kurt, I don't care about a late night, I'm game! As long as I can feed the dogs before I head out, they should be fine at home. I like exploring. Maybe we can find a use for your winch too!?!
