Exclamation Membership info for NC TLCA club, ONSC

We had the meeting on Sunday @ 3pm to set up the TLCA club, Olde North State Cruisers (ONSC). We had a great turnout at the Champs in Durham. We established the club heirarchy of President, Vice-pres, treasurer, etc. We made some goals for the club in events and future meetings.

See this thread for membership information. Include your TLCA membership number so that we can show the TLCA our support of the association.

Be sure to create your i8mud account and bookmark the Olde North State Cruisers forum to watch for future announcements. If you want to get on the email list for the club, send a message to the club president (southerncruiser62 on the i8mud forum) with your email address.

Regular club meetings are planned to be on the 2nd Sunday of the month and hope to be moved around a bit to help members from around the state to stay involved/participate. Meetings may include simple meet and greet, HAMOM (Help A Member Of the Month), golf, shooting and even trail rides. First "official" event is a possible OBX run at the end of March (28-31), details to be finalized and announced in the future.

The next meeting will be a HAMOM, doing some work on a member's FJ-80 at another member's home in the "Triad" area (High Point, Greensboro, Winston-Salem). There will be food and beer provided member whose rig is being worked on and a good opportunity help/learn how to do something you might have not done before. Again, details will be forthcoming on the specific location, time, etc.

I'll post a few pics, nothing exciting, just the group of us and some night shots of some/most of the rigs in the parking lot.

Here is your shot to be a strong part of this club and give the FJ Cruisers a presence in the off-roading community. I think that the $15 annual membership is very reasonable. It does include a 30% discount at a Raleigh based dealership for parts for ANY Toyota with hopes to include a couple other dealerships around the state. More benefits will be coming for the annual fee.

That's about it for now, more info will be coming but it was a great turnout and I believe a great group of people to be hitting the trails with in the future...
