SkyKing, CO2 is in "air" anyway. I'm not an expert but the acid production you talk about is weak and I think only with water. I've never heard of any problems (not that I listen a lot...), but if it was a concern, I'd just air up with the CO2 (it's fast) then drain and use my compressor in a day or two when I was home. I really haven't heard of problems, but I may ask around.
