Re: Mounting Yaesu 7800 Radio

hello... i just mounted a yaesu 8900 unit with the remote kit....i mounted the main radio body in the left rear of the fj...tied into the power wiring going to the interv..heavy duty black and white wiring going to the intrv.....12vdc....the down side to this is the interv switch has to be on to power unit....got my mag mount antenna...stuck it to the rear of the gobi rack... ran coax around back door thru the grommet/boot to get it inside......ran the remote cabling up the driver side to mount the head unit vertical just below the a/c outlet.....RR
