Re: Kobuta (the little pig) aka mortgage

My wife picked up these rubber door dingers in Japan, got the Idea from BlackseaBK. He brought a set back when he went out there to visit the FJ plant. they are a graet thing, they just stick on and now I dont worry about opening the door in my garage or parking lots, more for the wall and other cars sake than saving damage from mine. waay past that point. lol

Then came the CB. I went with the BIGBILLCOMBO, for a list of issues with this refer to my thread on the FJC forum, anyway I ended up with the cobra 75, bandi mount, and 4 foot firestick. Trails are so much more fun when you can chat and actually understand people, unlike the little handhealds. Also very helpful for warnings and directions from the front if you have a large group and good for trouble calls too. Big thanks to MudlovingFJ on the install also for slapping on an additional 12 volt otlet.

in the center console bin

speaking of cobra, I got a radar laser detector and blocker

As everyone knows the stock horn sucks. once again I made a trip to the local auto parts joint and picked up a classic OOOGAHHH horn. It was fun for awhile but still not loud enough for highway speeds as I had to mount it inside the engine bay backwards due to its size. then I added another horn, a WOLO. now in cobination they kinda sound like a train horn, just not as loud.

Alas, I finally find a deal on a roof rack. I was going between the Gobi stealth and the AllPro models, well one day a guy posts up he has a gobi stealth with 4 delta lights, switches and harnesses. I got of work that day and drove 2 1/2 hours to jump on that deal, we installed it at his house that night and I drove it home. I still havn't wired up the lights yet because I didn't want to drill my roof but after my newest mod I am not worried about that at all.

I attended the allpro open house after winning the ultimate swaybar links at the Borregofest raffle. I initially went just to swap out the sleves and meet some other folks and check out the rigs, weeelllll, a couple hours and a couple hundred bucks later I walked out with Walker Evans rear nitro charged shocks, a high clearence exhaust, and ultimate rear links.

rear shocks

3" high clearance exhaust, cant even be seen from behind the truck

ultimate rear links, I would of definitly broken the round stock ones at the jamboree.

Blind spots? what blind spots? for a couple bucks I picked up one of those extra wide mirrors, now I can see all the way around the truck, even out the side and rear corner windows, and it's not that closer than they appear junk either.

the latest mod arrived at my house last week. Bought a snorkle from Dirty Parts for a hell of a deal. This morning MudlovingFJ and the Mrs. came over and I became his 5th install. I even got to drill the big hole, that was fun.

and heres a bunch of my stickers.

My Metal tech rear bumper is finally installed
