Right now I have a D40 that I'm allowing this country to tear up. It's not doing too bad. Two lenses 18-55 and 70-200.
When I get back home I'm getting a D300 and 18-200 VR lens. Probably will also purchase a SB-800 speedlight.
Tonight I ordered a Sandisk Extreme IV 4 GB CF card with firewire reader. 144-60 main in rebate (Adorama).
When I purchase the D300 I'll get a 10% military discount from Ritz. 1600 bucks for a D300 isn't bad.
