I got my '08 with nothing but the CQ and OF (off road/all terrain) packages and I love it...I'm primarily a weekend warrior too, and I don't off of the pavement very much...The Bilsteins and BFG Rugged Trail TA's stiffen up the ride nicely...I test drove this one and a stock suspension and the OF options really help it handle better both on and off pavement

And you're right about the upgrade packages...The upgraded stereo is nice and all, but the CQ package is really all you need...You can add everything you want for a lot cheaper than what Toyota wants to charge you for it...
