I live in North Arkansas, I have been watching the news out of Springfield, MO. They were calling for 6-8" of snow this afternoon. I woke up this morning and It has been snowing already. We have about two inches and it's still coming down like crazy. The weather report says that what were getting right now is nothing compared to what is coming. They are stating the "REAL" snow is behind a cold front coming in this afternoon. They say will get up to a foot of snow. I know what some of you from up north are thinking, big deal a foot of snow, I agree. But, normal snow falls were I live are around a couple of inches at a time, not dumping a foot in one snow fall. I have lived in Chicago years ago, I do know what big snows are like, but this is Arkansas...I LOVE the snow!
This is a first snow fall of the year, man I can't wait to get out there and drive in it. I'll take some pictures later when it really comes comes down and post them up. The snow makes everything so clean and pretty, it becomes so quite outside. I love this time of year...
Just wondering what others in the area are getting as far as snow fall amounts...I hope FJsohot posts up out of Branson, MO. She's about an hour North of me. They should be getting alot of snow there too.
