30K Mile Check up

So, I finally hit 30K miles in the FJ and still absolutely love the truck.

I do find myself looking at a lot of Defender 90's online, but I still love driving the FJ.

I took the FJ to the dealer for it's 30K mile checkup which hammered me for me than $300. I knew it was going to be pricey, but I want the Yota to last for a long while.

My question is, what do you guys think about the 15K, 30K, 60K checkups?? How necessary are these for maintaining a long life for the FJ? I don't mind dropping the cash every once in a while, but I want to know that it is a good sound investment (I know cars are not investments), but you know what I mean.

Thoughts?? Suggestions??

Thanks,

David
