Re: Prince George, British Columbia (an expedition?)
Having spent some time running back and forth between Vancouver and Kelowna (Big White and Silver Star ski resorts), I can confirm that this region of Canada is absolutely huge and unbelievably scenic. A writer of a guidebook I have claimed to have driven over 10,000 miles in British Columbia while researching the book.
By the way, I love it so much up there, I'd move if I could. If something like this comes up in late summer/early fall, Woodsman may consider it. My sister has a place at Big White that is very worthy of an overnight stay.
