Hi Everyone,
I'm guessing a lot of what I'm asking for is covered in other places in this forum. It's not that I'm lazy, I just don't have very good internet access here (Iraq) I'm going home on leave in March, and I'm going to order my retirement FJ Cruiser so it is there when I get home for good. I don't plan on ordering many gizmo's and whatchamacallits, but I would like to know more about the performance options, specifically the quick throw tranny. What are the advantages to it, other than the obvious 30% shorter shift distance. Anyone get it and wish they hadn't, not gotten it and wish they had? What kind of HP boost do you really get with the trd exhaust, or is it really more about sounding cooler? Kind of the same with the air filter, any real gains on that? The other stuff I plan on getting is the conv. pack, all weather mats, arm rest and the rear door storage. Is there anything else that I am overlooking that I really should get. It will be a daily driver, with light occasional off-roading. Thanks for any input you can give

exhaust-useless, some said it sounds worse then the stock unit and is bigger which might not help offroad

for 2008 you have to get the convenience package, no base units, (the only package that makes sense to me)

good luck
