first, i liked fred. but, his heart wasn't in it. then mitt romney became my guy. then the so-called, conservative side of the party gets divided up between him and mike huckabee so neither are viable candidates. this paves the way for moderate john mccain to grab the nomination..

My feelings exactly...yet the true conservatives with any true
influence never came through with the needed Romney endorsements until the day
after the biggest political vote in American history and the day
before he dropped out.
Every single so-called 'true conservative' out there effectively hedged their bets until the very last moment...and that was far to late for Romney; who will now go down as the last and best hope for the party...period. The guy spent over $40 million
of his own money hoping and praying that every voter out there that had been shooting their mouths off for years about how "conservative" they all were...would simply go out and pull the right lever for America on that one day.
They didn't...and just as soon as all these conservative talk show hosts then realized that they should have indeed actually
stood up for what they had been preaching all along...it was to late for everybody and all of their credibility was lost along with Romney's very large pile of hard-earned cash.
