Good info.

I need a new windshield too. I can't believe I've had this rig 3 weeks and the windshield needs replacing...shucks. I was coming up I-5 and got hit with a pebble (I kid you not) and it made a tiny dot....next thing ya know it had "grown" to a foot long crack? I hear ppg glass is the way to go on replacement??? Anyone have any experience with this???

Sapper: How much did Safelite charge???
I don't remember. I would have to look for the receipt. All I know is that, out-of-pocket I paid nothing. My insurance covered everything. Since I had so many problems with Renton Safelite, they waived my deductable.

By the way, the guy at Renton Safelite took most of the day to install it the first time. I showed up as they opened, and he gave me the keys at about 1. The guys at Lakecity totally redeemed the "safelite" name. As far as quality, I go over the pass quite a bit. I hear the rocks hitting it and can't find a ding or crack yet. (knock on wood)
