Re: aFe Throttle Body Spacers!!!
I installed mine last week. At the same time I cleaned out the aFe intake and installed the prefilter sock overtop the Pro-Dry S filter. I just did a drive that before I got about 19mpg and this time I got 20.3mpg according to my ScangaugeII. As for performance it's hard to tell. Right now the air is so cold and dense that gives more of a performance boost than what I would expect with the TBS. I think sometimes I can hear a wooshing sound near the 2k to 3k RPM range. Other than that it looks pretty under the hood. I'm considering removing the engine cover as it doesn't quite fit right with everything. Maybe I'll just put some insulation on the hood to protect from overheating problems in the summer and just keep the engine bay more open to breathe.
