7-8% is definitely high. I work for a dealership. The interest rates they are quoting you are marked up, so that the dealership can make money on the financing. Right now you can get an interest rate as low as 5.35% from toyota Financial Services. You just have to negotiate the interest rate just like you would the actual vehicle.
