Mine doe this
Mine does this as well.. It seems the drivers side (outside) track does not lock until I rock it a little.. Ron

This might not be the same problem you are experiencing but it maybe as well.
Whenever i move the front-to-back position, it never locks into place and it will have some play to it. It is only when i push back with my legs that it fully locks into position. Hope it is this easy to fix
