All right, I was hopping for some suggestions but I guess not. The problem is that I am not sure where we can go. Lots of trail have gate closures during this season so unless someone knows about a place that stays open...
I can suggest the crossing between Hwy 108 and 4 from Beardslley reservoir to Camp Connel North of Arnold. It is a dirt road all the way through but it has some high elevation in a couple of spot over 7,000 feet so I know there is snow out there. Emigrant trail off of 88? So the big question is access... or we can just meet in the valley and go for a stroll East and see what happens... How about Sunday the 24th of this month?
