Re: A choice between five MT tires

The BFG KM2 is a very solid tire. There was alot of speculation and hearsay about this tire just before it was released last Sept. I have done extensive testing with this tire as have a few other people on this and other boards. Use the search feature for the reviews.

I have not heard of any rock failures. These tires do very well in the rocks. Their sidewall is thicker than the BFG MT's and they developed the KM2 with input from the BFG Krawler tire, which is one of the best, if not the best, rock tire you can buy. Remember, anyone can trash a tire, any type of tire in the rocks, if they gas it hard enough and do nothing but spin tires in the rocks.

I highly recommend the KM2 tires for the rocks, which is where I use mine the most.

Regards, SSC
