tire help

This has probably been asked a million and one times, so forgive me, but I need some help with some new tires....

I've killed yet another stock tire. Was up in Northern AZ for work and thought it'd be fun to play in the snow. It was a lot of fun, minus the flat tire. up in the elevation there was about a foot of snow to plow through and I must have hit something that split the tire. Didn't even notice it until I got to the mud.

Ahh, how fun it is to change a flat in dress clothes.

I'm going to take it into discount and see if the warranty will cover it, but I doubt it will. In that case it looks like I need a new set of tires. I'm open to suggestions.

I'm looking for something that will hold up to offroad driving, and still make a good driving tire, as I tend to drive a bit more than planned for work.

50k tread rating would be nice
road hazard warranty, so if I get a puncture on the trail, its covered.
MT would be better than AT, but I understand with the tread rating that might be difficult.
money isn't that big of an issue, but lets be realistic
suggestions?

also, how big can I go without a lift? How easy is a body mount chop? Should I get 4 or 5 tires - how bad would it be to drive on a stock tire if all the others are bigger? Any thing else I should look at or be aware of?

I'm a little bummed, as I was hoping I could get the lift and tires all at once, allowing for bigger tires, but I guess it didn't work out that way.
