Aux Lights Wiring
I've been putting off moving the aux lights power from the main battery to the aux battery but I've finally had a chance to clean up the lights wiring in the engine compartment. First, using Excel, I mapped out all the required switches, relays, wires and connections to help me keep everything organized and also help with troubleshooting if any issues would come up during the rewiring.

I selected a Hella 4-gang relay box to organize all the lights relays. This require quite a bit more planning and effort but resulted in a very clean installation. I was able to pre-wired the power, ground, and relay trigger wires prior to installing the Hella relay box onto the passenger's side fender.
Pre-wiring the Hella relay box. The mounting tabs on the Hella relays were cut off using a pull saw and a miter box. This relay box will not be able to accommodate relays with built-in fuses. The Hella relay box is also not water tight so its mounting location needs to be carefully chosen.

All connections are crimped and soldered then protected with heat shrink tubing.
For the fuse box, I used a Blue Sea 6-position fuse box. The fuse box is connected to the aux battery with an 80A Maxi fuse.
