whats the deal with the dropping jounces??? no loctite? or is it a design flaw?
A little of both. The issue is that the directions call for a set screw in the cup mount but the mounts that came with mine and I assume Larry's didn't have one or the room for one and they also don't recommend Loctite that way you can remove them some what easy if you have to for rebuild. Because mine and Larry's didn't have these set screws in place or a place for them they slowly worked lose and took of on there own. Larry's is some were on the Mojave road, mine I have no clue were it is. It could be in a ditch in town some were or on the freeway , I think I lost it in town on a dirt road short cut but didn't find it when I went back to look for it.

I was lucky enough to get a new one under warranty I am not sure what is happening with Larry's we shall see soon. I hope his is covered as well. When they sent me/Jason the new chubby it came with a new cup mount that has a set screw so the drivers side on mine isn't going any were plus Jack put loctite on it when he put it on. My passenger side has the old style cup mount still and some red loctite. I had Kim order me a new cup mount from Light Racing that has the set screw and when it comes in I will change it out for the old one on the passenger side so there is nothing to worry about.

If you have the old style with out a set screw make sure you check your chubby's on a regular bases'. And I recommend getting a new style with a set screw.
