You know I didn't want to say this but I will. Why wasn't there more of us at this event? This is one of those huge events where you can make a difference and help take care of ORV lands so they are not taken away from us.
I was dissappointed with the lack of turnout from members from
www.FJCruiserforums.com. I was also disappointed with the lack of turnout from a lot of members from Adventure4x4.net.
We all need to give back to our sport or it will be taken away. We all need to plan to attend at least one trail clean up event each year, SoCal members should make it Calico. I know we all have busy lives and understand this but we need to try harder for Calico 09.
If we don't work together to keep Calico clean, people are going to keep dumping their crap there and eventually the BLM might shut it all off because of the trash.
The Calico Cleanup is making a huge impact. The trash levels are down. There is still a lot to pick up but it's not as much as what we hauled out of there in 08. SoCal members, please try to make this event that once a year event to go to.
