I'm glad that it all ended up ok.
The last time you and I ran that road (about 6-7 weeks ago?), the weather was just as wet, and so forth and we took the by-passes but didn't sink to the axles. What happened this time? In fact, that bad piece you were tripping up went rather smoothly for both of us - no carnage at all. In fact it was raining and was snowing at Big Bear when we ran it.
Anyway, you had the recovery gear and the know-how to use it. Do you know why the winch failed? Is it a Warn?
