I just ordered the adaptors...and I have a question as to the parts needed from Yakima. A 44" fairing is listed - why not a wider one to better match the roof width of the FJ?

Does the longer fairing flop around too much?

Is the 44" one as effective as a longer one?

The adaptors should arrive today, so I want to swing by REI on the way home to get the Yakima parts....
