Yes, you can do what everybody else does. Blame me! lol The food is not rocket science and doing some initial figures I'd need about 4-5 more folks to help me out. (I wouldn't volunteer the group unless I stood first in line to do the work!)
As stated, if you really want to lead a small group run, get very familiar with the trails! There are runs from fun to "Oh ****e". You decide what you want to do and go from there! The other thing I'll insist on is practicing your recovery skills! Get stuck and muddy then get out of it using safe methods! Don't know any recovery techniques? Find a couple of folks who do and practice getting stuck and unstuck! (Sounds damned fun!) Can't find anyone willing to help you out? Then here's a great DVD to start you out!
