In answer to your question...No, Paper won't hold up...Needs to be vinyl
Here is a company ( if no forum sources emerge) that does custom work...might check them out, (although I've not used them before, I may for some BBQ team stickers I need)
Also, You may consider an oval (Euro sticker) adaptation of your design....just a thought.
