List of Off Road Trails in Connecticut

Im putting together a list of off-road trails to take your FJ on in Connecticut. Please post any experiences you may have with these trails, or any additional trails that you know of in CT.

The Meadowlands, Rocky Hill, CT
A large area of farmlands with a series of dirt paths that. Not very difficult to wheel, but some of the trails follow the CT River. You are allowed to drive in the meadowlands as long as you stay to the paths.

Cedar Swamp Road, Deep River, CT
This is actually listed as a road posting speed limits, etc. However the entire road is all dirt and extends deep through woody terrain.

Nepaug State Forrest, New Hartford
Located off Rt. 202 these trails consist mainly of sand and mud, also there is access to powerline trails.

Lamentation Mountain, Berlin, CT
Enter this trail on Footit rd. in Middletown, CT. This trail is challenging, and you may have to fend off irate dirt-bikers who also roam these trails.

Giuffrida Park, Meriden, CT
There is a trail marked with blue that follows crescent lake, until it branches off into powerlines trails. From the Parking-lot look for a gate (hopefully its unlocked). However, Im not sure if your allowed to wheel here.
