Are you using any antivirus, firewall, anti-spam or other security software? If so, make sure it's updated/current versions. If not, get some! Check your system for viruses & adware/spyware. For the latter, try
spybot and
adaware (both free). There are free antivirus programs as well.
Is your copy of windows current & updated using windows update? If not, make sure it is.
You may want to try this: go to Start Menu->Programs->Accessories and open the item called "Command Prompt". Type "ping fjcruiserforums.com" and see what's listed under "time". Then try another few webstes to compare the times. How different are they?
