DeMello Offroad Production Tube Front Bumper

I swapped out the prototype DO front bumper for the production version without the top tube today. The new DO front bumper weighs 57 lbs (including the aluminum skidplate) and has mounting tabs for fog lights and antennas. Installation took about 30 minutes after removal of the previous bumper and it was light enough for me to install by myself. This batch of DO tube bumpers have laser-cut aluminum skidplate and provision for mounting a winch. As seen in the third photo, the bottom is tucked in very tight to improve approach angle compared to the factory front bumper (and the firts couple prototypes although the winch mount is higher and the plastic front bumper cover cannot be used to tidy up the top). I drilled four holes to mount the front license plate and the two holes for the hawse fairlead (the skidplate do not have these two holes for those who do not plan to use a winch). IMO, the front end looks "lighter" without the top tube.

I plan to re-install the Warn M8000 winch in the near future.
