Re: turn the DRL's OFF!

AddOp - A proven procedure is to disconnect the resistor connector behind the driver's side headlight. This is easy except for getting your hand in the small space between the light housing and the wall structure in front of the battery. This is covered in this and 6 million other threads with descriptions, photos , etc, including this very thread. try searching. I can verify, without a doubt, that this works. I have done it to my FJC with my big stubby fingers. IT WORKS, REALLY! no fires, malfunction, dashboard lights , nothing. Just clean pure daylight darkness (WTF?). My bro is in the AirForce, he verifies my headlights are dark. There, military approved.

Believe me,... not yet, come on! IT WORKS. NO REALLY it works. DON'T be afraid, just disconnect the connector, you can always reconnect it if you want your DLR back on.

By the way, why would anyone need a switch?? Just turn on your headlights if you want to run in the day. They auto shut off.

Please do not trust me, even though I know this works, DO this at your own risk (don't clip the red, no blue wire...)
