Nice pics! you got a few years on me, my sister took me out there to baby sit me and party with her friends. Brings back some great memories.

Yep, lots of parties out there!
I remember other 4x4s used to drag a 2x4 piece of wood through the soft sand, to smooth the sand out, and wait for people to get stuck and then charge people money to pull them out. I would pull them out for free and the 4x4ers got pissed at me.. lol

Paul, thanks for sharing those great pics! Any details--purchase price, how you came about such a classic and what color is she? I've taken pics of me and my son with our rig, hoping some day he will say "Yea, we had one of those..."

Actually I don't remember a lot about it. I bought in almost pristine condition and beat the heck out of it and then traded it in for a 750 Honda CBR.The places I used to go to that was close to my house got closed down so I sold it.

Oh man, these are such sweet pics!!! Did you really take these photos??
Thanks for posting, although I do have to admit, there is a certain quality about the old FJ that the new one cannot seem to touch. I just love the spirirted look of the original, it is splendid. I may hijack one of your photos and add to my Sandstorm thread (in my sig.)...Is that OK?

Well yeah, I took them all except for the one I am in.. lol
