I don't have a lift but was getting flashed every single time I drove at night. I adjusted the headlights down 10 teeth (on the rotating wheel) and I haven't been flashed once since then and that was many months ago.
I too was only driving with the parking lights and the DRL's on at night but you don't have the high beam/flash ability without the headlight switch set to on.
