Thats right, I said 4/20... 8)

I figured since we have had a lot of new people join the forum lately and many of us still haven't met up on trail runs it would be nice to have a little get together before the weather gets too hot! I present to you the first (hopefully) annual AZFJ Meet-N-Greet. Everyone with an FJ is welcome, and I hope those of you outside of the city can make the trip in to join us!

When: Sunday April 20th at 11am till ??
Where: Kiwanis Park, 6111 S. All-America Way, Tempe, Az...Ramada #12
Google Map

Get to Baseline and Mill, then head south on Mill...go over about 4 or 5 speed humps and the next park entrance will be on your right.... curve around until you get to your first parking lot on the right and drive to the back until you see some FJ's!

There are restrooms close to the ramada, along with the lake, and on the other side of the parking lot sand volleyball and horseshoes.

There are two park grills at the ramada but feel free to bring a portable one if you have it. We will be bringing our shade tent-thingy, if you have one feel free to bring that as well. This will be a non-alcoholic event unless a kind Tempe resident wants to go by the parks office and pay for a beer permit (as only Tempe residents can reserve this). I think it's $5.

PLEASE DO:
Bring Kids/Friends/Dogs (must be kept on leash...just the dogs)
Bring a folding chair or blanket
Bring something to share since it's a potluck
Bring Frisbees, footballs, RC Cars and other outdoor games for fun
Bring a guitar if you wish to entertain us
Bring extra trash bags

PLEASE DON'T
Do anything your mother would not approve of!

Who's in and what they are bringing:
The R2's- Soda Pop and cups
Man, sounds like a great time. I am already having a party at my place that day though, so I'm afraid I can't make it. Bringing my guests down would be something momma wouldn't approve of either, so that option is out even though 3 of them also have FJ's.

Hope Y'all have a great time.
