Re: Possible move to Denver area
FJCruzer123 lives right smack in the middle of downtown in a pretty sweet little victorian style home, you can't get much closer than him.
Like Tony was telling you though the area we live in, commutes aren't really bad. My wife works in downtown and it takes her about 25 minutes down CO HWY 2 to get to work in the mornings.
If you work a Mid shift like me, the commute to work and home is awesome. Takes me about 30 minutes to get to Broomfield and the same back.
Snow, this is something you'll have to account for in your commute and can double your trip time to work. Parker is sweet, but I have a few co-workers that live out there and it takes them sometimes an hour and a half to get in.
I am originally from El Paso about the same climate as AZ, so the snow will be a shock for you. We moved here from Oklahoma where it's mostly ice and I like the snow much better, I can move it out of the way. Besides much of it melts away the next day.
Can't offer you to much info on schools (no kids).
