sell em sell em!

My FJ was at the dealer yesterday to get some dings out (another post) for free and while I was there I chatted with the sales guy YET AGAIN.

Now I tend to take anything a car salesman tells me with a/grain so... he was telling me that Toyota is making more FJs than they can sell. He said that he's being pressured to sell them but they are not selling anymore. Well to the volume Toyota wants. He says that corporate is blaming salesman and will not slow down production. so he asked me if anyone wanted an FJ and he'd try to work out a good price.

A few months ago when I was in for an oil change the same sales guy told me they are not ordering anymore FJs since they do not sell anymore, now he is saying they are getting too many and are being forced to sell them. when they do not sell they are getting the blame for not doing their job. that supply exceeds demand at this time.

anyone think this? I kinda wished I bought my FJ today because it does seem like they are working with the price and you are getting more options. When I bought mine it was flat out NO DEALS.
