Thanks for the replys.

What happened was that as I was coming down off a rock I got a bad angle. With brakes on I slid a couple of feet and contacted the front. Yes I heard the contact. I had to give it a bit of power, the front then drove off into the trail at a level attitude.

I can't help but think these things are connected. But other post say that the front bumper is attached to the frame and shouldn't move the fender.
