TruFilter Oil System

I am giving this a try. My initial impression with the quailty is very good. It is really nice to look at too. The filter is fully servicable and cleaning the screen is very easy. Just use soap and water or an appropriate cleaning agent. You need to use a rubber adjustable filter wrench to remove it, otherwise you risk unscrewing the cap and leaving the base still screwed in. I'll post up a pic of the type of wrench that will prevent this problem. It is supposed to provide superior filtration and flow rate over any paper media filter. Nothing to throw away means you save money and the environment. I will keep you all posted on what I think of this filtration system and if I recommend it after I have some experience with it on the truck. So far so good. It sure does dress up the engine compartment nicely!
