When I left work this afternoon, I found a pool of oil under my rear differential. I immediately drove to the Truck Shop to have my FJ mechanic check it out. It turns out a rock hit my rear diff and bent it just enough to cause the oil to leak out. I have an appointment to take the FJ in on Thursday afternoon for repairs, so I'm out of transportation.
I also took apart my FJammer to remove the stuck CD inside, and I got the thing completely damaged after I tried to force it to reset and it wouldn't. Now my FJammer sits in the trash and I have a big hole in my dash.
Boy can I use a drink or two by about now. This month I have had nothing but problems, starting with my fridge ice maker pipe bursting and causing a small water flood in the living room, to the Mojave carnage, which continues with its after effects.
I'll have to skip this one, please forgive me, but I'll do my best to join the next one when my mood is not so foul (and perhaps my luck has changed).
