Thanks for all the help so far guys. After reading your replies, I've decided to just wire the switch so that it's always hot. This way, I can turn on the lights whenever I need them.

Ok, now I only have 2 more questions:

*Where might be a good place to mount the relay so that it stays nice and dry? (and vertical) I don't want to have any problems down the road with corroded terminals.

*iCruiser, you mentioned that you used an OEM switch with an indicator light. Would you happen to have a part # for the switch?
