Put your odometer to the odometer reading (not Trip A or B). Turn off your ignition. Press and hold your odometer button then turn the ignition key on (don't start it). Hold the odometer button in until the lines on the odometer display stop blinking (and there's a beeping sound too if I recall correctly) - takes about five seconds and then your set for another 5000 miles.
