Santa Annas are notoriously regional & topographically dependent. The most consistently worst (grammar nazis beware!)  areas seem to be Cajon pass and that whole funnel shaped region westward, and MY HOUSE! It seems nowhere else in San Diego County gets anywhere near the wind velocity I do. Usually the SD area is calm when OC is howling.
