Well, I chose the name obviously cause of my tie to the Marine Corps also because it reminds me on Marine Corps Service "A" Dress Blues. Secondly, in World War II there was an elite group of men that were specially trained for amphibious landings. These Marines were deployed to the Pacific Islands. They were called Raiders and lead to the training Marines still receive today.
