I chopped my stock collars off and installed some billet aluminum ones and they are plenty sturdy enough. I payed 75 bucks for the ones I got but mabey you can find em cheaper. Depends on the strength of the metal used and the craftsmanship. I usually apply the "get what ya pay for" theory but sometimes you can find a suitible alternative for cheaper.
