One more thing about the Phoenix area
I call it the 400 mile rule.
The reasoning behind the 400 mile rule is..
If you draw a circle 400 miles from pheonix , you can do almost anything you want to do within that circle.
400 miles represents a single day drive so a long 3 0r 4 day weekend could be used for doing all of these things.
Skiing, ocean, mountains, culture, international travel ( I know that one is a stretch) green grass, etc. I know there are many other things but, its just after 5 am here and I an still foggy.
