Bought it July 21, 2006. Currently 20,502 miles on the odo, and its my daily driver (yeah, i don't drive far, work is 1 mile away, college is 5 miles away).

It has a few names..
Norma,
The Bumwagen, and the
Bargain Cruiser. Ignore the Voodoo Death thread title, its just my attention grabbing method.
The reason behind the names:
Norma, because my snorkel said so.
The Bumwagen, because some of the fellow SoCal'ers dubbed me the bum since i used to camp in a shack and used newspapers as a blanket (they do work). And the
Bargain Cruiser because my FJ is built up of many, many a used parts.
Originally, when i began adding mods, i was just getting them to get them with no real direction (crawler, go-fast desert truck, or expedition). Over the last few months i have figured out what i want, and Expedition style rig, with stock like appearance. It is slowly coming together, paycheck by paycheck. Maybe by 2009, when i finally have a fulltime job, It will join the ranks of the
Scorpion,
The Über FJ, and the
like.
The Driver:
I can't say i'm your average 20 year old, but, what else is there to say?? When i comes down to it, I go to college and work, and I just wanna have fun.
