I'm more interested in how a leaky front diff was leaking fluid onto your manifold.
Do you mean maybe somehow splashing onto your exhaust pipe or one of the cats?

I said, "From inside the CD player in my FJ" (he knew which FJ, it only had about 2000 miles on it and I'd already been in at 1200 miles for a 'finger-tight' front diff bolts problem that was allowing diff fluid to leak out onto my exhaust manifold....I guess they have Monday morning's at the factory in Japan just like here in the states).
