You guys should look into holding a HAM exam session at some point. All you need is 3 VE's (Volunteer Examiners) present to sign off on the exams (ARRL VEC and W5YI VEC rules).
If you don't have any VE's in the group then maybe you should look into becomming VE's! Look on the ARRL site for info on their VEC program; you could also look up the W5YI VEC group for info on their program as well.

Hmmm, interesting point. Both my wife Shirley (KO5M) and I are ARRL VE's so there will be two of us at the summit!
However, anyone who passes the test will have to wait until the FCC assigns a callsign... Plus, we'd have to coordiate with the local ham club, etc. to ensure no toes were stepped on... But, I'm positive they'd assist and possibly even coordinate a test session.
What a hoot! Think of the bragging rights when folks could say... "I passed my technician test at the FJ Summit in Ouray!"
